   Spider-Man: Brand New Day (Movie Review) When Love Means Letting Someone Hold the Other End of the Web “ No one has greater love than this, to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13   There is something strangely sad about seeing Spider-Man swinging beautifully through New York city while Peter Parker gets home with no one waiting for him. Spider-Man: Brand New Day begins where No Way Home ended where Peter at the end is alive, heroic, admired, and forgotten. Everyone has forgotten who Peter Parker is, including MJ and Ned. He continues to protect New York, but underneath the mask is a young man who is sad and filled with grief, loneliness and the painful consequences of a sacrifice he freely chose. The comes along a mysterious creature or an enemy if you call it one, with, Peter himself begins experiencing unsettling changes, and spiderman discovers that some battles cannot simply be solved by punching harder.
